Art Workshops

Creating art in community is such a powerful way to honor our individual creative processes while connecting with others. Kate is passionate about sharing her love of mixed media collage and painting. She offers workshops in person and online and enjoys welcoming art enthusiasts and artists of all backgrounds!

If you’re craving creative community, some structure with zero pressure, and a joyful space to show up for art and/or writing projects, JOIN US in this 12-week online group.
This is an invitation to have a standing date with your creativity in a casual, all-levels-welcome group.
We’ll gather online for 12 weeks to move our creative projects forward, together! Offered twice a year, spring and fall. Interested? Let me know!

I cannot recommend Kate's art workshop more - she's not only a master at instruction but also in holding space for the work - which is often both the physical creation of the art project, and the emotion/memories that often arise while doing the work. Sign up - you won't regret it!

I loved your online collage workshop and the way you opened and closed it with community-building and intention. As someone who loves to create but has never felt very talented as an artist, it was so much fun to connect with other creatives, learn some new techniques, and make a piece of art! I'm finding making things to be healing during these stressful times. I can't wait to participate again!

I recommend this class for anyone who wants to share an afternoon with a creative group of people. I loved the encouragement you gave about "playing" and "experimenting" with materials. I think that set everyone up to be playful and to not worry about product. I also highly recommend signing up with your artsy child - great creative bonding.
